SCCI Services
Summit Central Construction, Inc. is organized into four areas:
Design & Estimating is managed by President, Wayne Gilthvedt. The design phase includes an outline of a project scope and a design from a professional Architect, Engineer and other professional that we have partnered with. They will produce the design and construction documents required to build the project. Design review meetings with all necessary professionals are scheduled on a regular basis until all the objectives are complete so that construction can begin. Estimating is provided at different milestones of design completion to ensure the project remains on budget. SCCI works regularly with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure cost
estimating is competitive.
Project Management is a lso managed by Wayne Gilthvedt. This position manages the day-to-day activities of the project from the initial design through final construction completion. The Project Manager
coordinates construction services with the owner representative, architect, subcontractors and suppliers while managing project costs, delivery and scheduling. Weekly jobsite meetings serve all participants with communication which is essential throughout the various phases of construction. Weekly meetings provide an opportunity to discuss job schedule, decisions, and possible challenges. By staying informed, possible mid-job changes can be
implemented with little disruption to the schedule.
On-site Management includes a project Superintendent and Foreman. The project superintendent manages the on-site production in a pro-active style
 while maintaining a constant dialog between SCCI management, subcontractors, suppliers and foreman. The project foreman manages the on-site work crews while continuously reviewing the project drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications and codes.
Administrative Support includes Brook Hickle and Rene’ Popke. This team is responsible for finance management, project budget management, contract administration, administrative support for project management personnel, and general office support.
Other Services
A complete set of Operational & Maintenance Manuals and final “as-built” drawings of the construction project and systems is provided to each owner as required.
Summit Central Construction, Inc. provides a one-year warranty on all workmanship. The warranty is also provided by subcontractors participating in the project. If there is a warranty issue to be dealt with, SCCI will send a company representative to the site to take care of the issue in a timely and non-disruptive manner.
